Allied Automation designs many turnkey systems that utilize servo and stepper motion control to achieve their primary core functions. Our application experience ranges from micro-positioning using robots in a clean room environment (semiconductors, pharmaceuticals etc.) to servo or stepper control in a hazardous environments (automobiles etc.).

This 5 Axis Computer Numeric Controlled machine tool is used to cut rotary die boards. The system profiles the perimeter with a routing head, drills and bores holes via. (2) drill heads, and saws grooves to accept raised steel rule.

These die boards are used to cut box shapes from Corrugated flat stock.

Key Feature of this system include:

  • Load control and tool wear monitoring
  • Pre-proofing layout capability to minimize scrap
  • CAD/CAM function allows box layouts to be downloaded to the machine to minimize programming.
