This Machine tool is used to perform a number of adjustment operations on watt-hour meter voltage coils. At the core of the system, lies a Ferguson indexer which moves the product through 8 stations. The system off-loads product from a separate dial plate machine onto pucks that ride on an accumulating conveyor. It then pulls the product off of the pucks and places them onto the adjustment machine. The product then receives a number of checks and adjustments prior to off load.

Key Features

• Critical disk Gap setting to +/-0.0008 inches on a component by coupling an anvil on a servo driven linear stage, We integrated a  laser micrometer to measure the gap distance as it is being set.
• 4 second cycle time for entire calibration process.
